About Dr. Occhiuzzi-Chittum
Anna M. Occhiuzzi-Chittum is a veteran chiropractic doctor with many years of experience. She graduated in 1983 from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in Sunnyvale, CA, where she practiced for 10 years.
She moved from California to Virginia in 1993 because of a desire to raise her family in a rural setting. She established her own chiropractic practice in Rocky Mount in Franklin County before selling it in 2000 to be a stay-at-home mom. Once her children were grown and out on their own, she returned to pursue her passion for chiropractic care in Botetourt County.
Upon moving to Rockbridge Baths in 2022, she saw a need to offer health care in her husband Charlie’s hometown, so she opened Rockbridge Baths Chiropractic.
Anna specializes in hip and lower back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, and headaches. She provides therapies such as muscle stimulation and trigger point therapy. She is open to new patients, and accepts Medicare assignment. In most cases, she can provide same-day appointments.
